Frequently Asked questions.

Where do you source your antiques?

Items are hand picked and imported to Canada from locations all across Europe. Our favourite location for sourcing fine antiques is at specialty auctions in Ireland.

What’s your return policy?

We pride ourselves in our customer service and have made it our policy to make sure that the customer is always confident and pleased with their purchase - even after they’ve left our buildings.

An item that has been purchased at Castle Antiques can be returned within 30 days along with the original receipt, provided the antique is the condition in which it was bought.

Please note that sale items are final sale.

What is your policy on antiques that could be considered culturally inappropriate?

On occasion, our store acquires antique pieces that could be deemed ethically sensitive by the social standards of today. We believe that in the context of antiques, the significance of the pieces are served best by not by censoring them. Instead, we present them with the understanding these pieces are part of the greater human narrative and reflect the spirit of the time in which they were created.
